Star Wars documentary is epic

For the last year or so I've been becoming increasingly more interested in film as an art form and using it for story telling. And since i've become more interested in film, whenever I watch a movie on dvd i usually go to the special features and watch the making of that particular movie (wether it be bad or good so I can know how not to make a movie and certain things that can improve a movie). This weekend was my first weekend of summer vacation so to celebrate I decided to watch the original Star Wars Trilogy. And after I finished watching it I followed suit and watched the special features (which turned out to be a full out documentary).
I would highly reccomend anyone interested in film to watch the making of Star Wars documentary. I learned alot about George Lucas that I never even knew before. For example, I had no idea that he was actually an independent movie maker and that Episode five and six of star wars were both fully financed by himself. And by the time the first trilogy was completed, George Lucas had started like five major film making businesses.

Behind schedule but Still Going Somewhere

Ok so i know i said that I wanted my outline done by the end of the week but tomorrow's my last day and I still have alot to go. I think I may have spoken too soon when I said that I'd have it finished up in a week. Or maybe I'm just not spending enough time on it. Well either way I'm going to start putting even more time into it.
So today I finished scene 10 and half of scene 11. I think i have about like half of the story knocked out, but the parts I've done so far have just been the easy parts. Now i'm starting to get to the real beefy part of my story. And believe me when I tell you that all vegetarians should step out of the room now cuz it just gets more and more jiucy from here on out (lol its fun to be cheezy, no pun intended).

My story is actually moving along

So I'm not sure if you've known or not but I am currently writing an amazing story that I one day hope to make into an animation. But unfortunately i've been work on this story since pretty much the beginning of the school year and all I've managed to get done is half of an outline.
Today however I was able to get a bunch more of the outline done. I'm going to try to get the rest of the outline done before the week is out and then maybe I could finish up the script before the summer is over. And yes I know that 3 months is maybe a little too long for just to write a script, but I have alot of things to do this summer and I don't want to give myself a deadline I won't be able to fill.

Gotta Stop Slacking

Ok so the school year is almost over except for one more week, which is for finals. But after that, the freedom of summer awaits me. Summer is practically what I've been waiting for for the majority of the school year. And yes I know that summer is what all little boys and girls dream of, but for me summer vacation has a different meaning. It is the oppurtunity to not only catch up on, but also get a leg up on my work (no pun intended you sicko).
So this summer I have a few tasks to complete under penalty of death (well not really)
  1. Actually do something with Blender, my animation software. Cuz I've had for nearly a year and I'm still pretty juvenile at it (even though i'm not quite sure that's the right word to use). But anyway I think i'll be able get better at it once I get Blender for Dummies.
  2. Learn and Memorize all my scales for clarinet. I'm not really sure if this is possible to do in two months but I sure can try.
  3. Get a job. Nuff said.

I know there's more stuff but I can't really think of them right now. I'll probably remember them later. Well until the next time TTFN.
